Noddy Holder age 79 (born June 15, 1946) is an English musician, singer, songwriter, and actor best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the glam rock band Slade, one of the UK’s most successful 1970s acts with hits like Merry Xmas Everybody and Cum On Feel the Noize. Hailing from Walsall, England, Holder co‑wrote much of Slade’s material, later branching into TV and radio work after leaving the band in 1992 and earning an MBE for his contributions to music and entertainment.
